Euro Currency Volatility IndexThis script is written on request of a Forex trader who wanted the value of Euro Currency Volatility Index shown on his chart.
He wanted to have the value displayed to help him with his trades.
As I do not trade Forex, I do not know the co-relation of $EVZ with Forex currency pairs and wrote the script only on his request. Perhaps other Forex traders who understand $EVZ and Forex may also benefit from this script.
All the best to all.
Volume Play This is going to be my first published indicator on Trading View. Thanks for TradingView for providing us this great platform And thanks for all of those who helps me to built this indicator and share there ideas.I cannot mention everyone name here believe me that list going to be huge.Everyone’s idea and help is much appreciated. This is how our TradingView community is growing day by day with kindness and knowledge. Every time I take so much from community in form knowledge that every time somewhere I feel that I also need to do something for community and finally day arrived .A gift from my side to community.A gift of indicator-VOLUME PLAY
This volume based indicator has High Relative Volume bar Background, Low Relative Volume bar background ,Volume Labels of Buying volume, Selling volume and Total volume count with percentage, Highest Volume in Percentage and Highest 5x volume count and 10x volume count of bar.Plus I have did column scaling to take Down pan input so you can switch pane or add in existing pane without any major problem And all this works on any time frame. Isn’t it good idea?
This indicator displays the volume of each session in a similar manner of the default volume indicator. However it add on the last bar Green and Red bar colours. Green means buying is more than selling and Red means selling is more than buying. On top of Some bar If number appears That means that’s volume is highest multiple volume of 5 and if number appears with label means highest multiple volume of 10.So simple without label volume counts means 5x and with label means 10x.
Now some of bars has background colour of Mint green , Pastel red and White. That’s highlight high relative volume bars with a highly buying activity range in Green and high relative volume bars with a highly selling activity range in Red And white background is low relative volume for that timeframe bar.
I am kind of person who don’t keep show indicator value enable all time.So it’s come in mind why not plot this values without enabling it.So I decided to show this values of buying, selling and total volumes on top near middle pane.Interesting thing is that I made a label with the help of pine script Table feature. Thanks a lot to Pine Team to add this new great feature! It’s great alternative for labels feature.Because of this feature I am able to locate buying, selling and total volume at right place where in most of scenario it will adjust.
Please note that all values are estimate. It’s not accurate.I show volumes in K,M form.Plus with volume I also try to show Buying And Selling volume in percentage form to get rough idea about what’s going on in instrument.Idea is to get better view of volume by splitting it into Buying , Selling and Total volume. This allows you to see are the bulls or bears in-control in relation to the overall Volume.
By default this indicator overlay is false but you can move this indicator pane to existing upper or lower pane.It will help to save space as well.If combine with two indicator at same pane then it will create two value scale at right side.So you will not loose any indicators values.By default I used 50% of vertical space in indicator scale factor.
I tried to make this indicator as accurate as inbuilt volume indicator with added extra feature. The main aim of indicator to get Idea of volume role in that symbol with that specific timeframe.Result might not be accurate but I expect somewhat nearby to accurate.
Kept source code open purposely for learners of pine script. Please avoid misuse or selling of this indicator.Remember Sharing Is Caring. If someone has suggestions or any addition then please comment below.Wishing you all abundance of health, wealth, and prosperity.
After all its all about VOLUME PLAY.

HARSI - HeikinAshi RSI (with Bollinger Bands)This is my first published script. I hope it might be useful!
This is a modified RSI that attempts to give smoother values. It takes 4 different input lengths and plots them in a similar way as Heikin-Ashi candles does.
It can be used in the same way as a regular RSI.
It also includes Bollinger Bands that might help identify overbought/oversold situations.
The script uses a slightly modified Allanster's 'Heikin Ashi source function' (many thanks for that very useful script!).
Nifty 20 VolumeThis script computes the volume for Nifty 50 index. I am using top 20 stocks here that constitute about 75% of the Nifty 50. I had used the script created by @shijithlal as a base for this. He has used all 45-50 stocks in his script. You can look that up if you want a more accurate volume.
FibBand, Perfect Trendline Trader and Target SystemSo, Dear Friends, I am open-sourcing one of my scripts which I created as a thesis project,
The Auto Trader System is a Scalping Tool , to be used mostly in intraday Setups!!
and is designed using,
1. Fibonacci Bands
Fibo Bands are Calculated by defining dynamic Fibonacci Pivots Lines over a history of Lookup values (Default is 89 periods lookback),
The bands help in identifying the Target Points for the setup
2. Perfect TrendLine Setup
The script uses PTS, as a filter to define the optimum entry and exit points
Which timeframe it works for ?
Works for Any Time Frame, but Intraday setups are good!
Who is this System for ?
Beginner and Intermediate Traders
Provision For Alerts
The Script has provision for both long and short alerts!!
Enjoy!
ZigZag with Fibonacci LevelsHello Traders,
This is " ZigZag with Fibonacci Levels " script. It finds the ZigZag, draw Fibonacci lines and put labels accordingly. I get many requests for this script, so here it is.
You can set ZigZag period as you wish. Bigger numbers (such 20, 30) may give better perspective and result.
It draws Fibonacci levels between 0%-100% and If the price goes higher/lower than 100% level than the script draws Fibonacci Levels accordingly. This means it draws Fibonacci levels until this levels get higher/lower than the price.
As an example:
if you don't want to see ZigZag Lines then you have option to disable it and see only Fibonacci levels:
You have coloring options for Zigzag, Fibonacci lines and texts:
Enjoy!
Ichimoku Kinko Hyo and moreI am publishing my updated Ichimoku ++ study with a more suitable title. Future updates will take place with this version.
Description:
The intention of this script is to build/provide a kind of work station / work bench for analysing markets and especially Bitcoin . Another goal is to get maximum market information while maintaining a good chart overview. A chart overloaded with indicators is useless because the structure of the chart is more difficult to see. The chart should be clear and market structure should be easy to see. The script allows you to add indicators and signals in different visualizations to better assess the quality of signals and the sentiment of the market.
A general advise:
Use the included indicators and signals in a confluent way to get stoploss, buy and sell entry points. SR clusters can be identified for use in conjunction with Fractals and other indicators as entry and exit pints. My other scripts can also help. Prefer 4 hours, daily and a longer time frame. There is no "Holy Grail" :).
Rain On Me PRO 3/3This is the part 3 of Rain On Me PRO. It follow my two other indicators "Rain On Me" and "Rain On Me V2". This version is called "PRO" because it is less "user-friendly" than the two previous versions. But it is more faster, and cleaner than ever!
This indicator is separated into 3 parts. You can find all parts into my profile in the « Scripts » section. Once the 3 parts together, the indicator is complete.
Here are the features for this part:
-MTF Fibonacci on 10 levels with level 0 in the middle and an "info panel" to indicate you the key levels. You can set an alert for each level cross.
-MTF High/Low (Red dots is last low and green dots is last high).
-Bollinger.
-Ichimoku Cloud with baseline (red) and alerts (SenkouA and SenkouB Cross or Tenkan and Kijun Cross).
Everything is fully customizable in settings.
To place an alert, always choose the "Once per bar" option.
Many functions are still to come. So don't hesitate to report bugs, suggestions and follow me to always be kept informed of the next updates to come!
//ALWAYS DELETE INDICATOR AND ALERTS AND RESET THEM AFTER AN UPDATE!
Thank again everyone for your support!
A BIG THANKS TO QUANTNOMAD FOR GIVING ME ITS AUTHORIZATION TO USE, MODIFY AND REPUBLIC ITS "Ultimate Pivot Points Alerts" script indicator:
Good trade everyone! And remember, money management is the most important!
Easy Directional Movement IndexNothing more than a graphical tweak for the integrated Directional movement index (DMI). The purpose is to make the reading of the DMI easier and more immediate.
The area between DI+ and DI- is filled, and the indicator's range in divided into 4 sections, each of them representing a different price tendency:
- When ADX line is inside the red colored area (0-25), the market is in a ranging phase.
- When inside the aqua colored area (25-50), there is a trend.
- When inside the blue colored area (50-75), there is a strong trend
- When inside the navy colored area (75-100), there is an extremely strong trend.
However keep in mind that these are default levels that may be not always significant. You can change them from the script settings as you prefer, to better tweak your analysis.
Please support my work and follow me if you like my scripts. Many more of them are coming in the future.
@Bezzus
Moving percentiles channelThis script plots moving percentiles of past price distribution, creating a channel useful for trend and volatility analysis, and for operational purposes also. Percentiles are more robust than common moving averages when it comes to address noise during lateral price movements.
Percentiles included:
- 10th
- 25th (= 1st quartile)
- 50th (= median)
- 75th (= 3rd quartile)
- 90th
You can choose between 2 methods to compute percentiles:
- Linear interpolation
- Nearest rank
(Check pinescript reference manual for more details)
The script also let you plot one Moving average, useful for comparison with the median. Supported MA:
- SMA
- EMA
- WMA
- VWMA
- Hull
- Arnaud Legoux
- Least squares
An example of operational rule could be:
- Buy when observing crossovers between price and 3rd quartile, and viceversa, sell when observing crossunders between price and 1st quartile.
- Close buy positions when observing crossunder between price and median, and viceversa.
However these are only simple example for teaching purpose. I suggest you to create your own strategy.
Hope you enjoy the script. Please support and follow me if you like my work. More content will be added in the future.

Fib Thermometer - S&P500Fib Retracement is such an amazing tool 😎 , and when u incorporate it onto a chart, no matter a forex , stock or future one, you will always secure some important and meaningful levels for your trading. I am not a huge fan of it actually 😵, but I would say it is an eye opener for me, because sometimes things don't fully make sense will make you money. I can't deny its popularity in our community and also in the trading world.
In this script, I am not intending to give a brand new version of auto drawing fib levels, but to catch the optimal timings to buy the upcoming rally after a crash 😊. Buying the dips is the approach to get rich , right? But more wisely, we can instead to buy the higher lows , not the lowest lows in order to avoid the bankruptcy risk. Nothing advanced to teach here, doing so just takes your extra patience and willingness to seek confirmation. 🕵
To cut it short, I have utilized 52-week highs and lows and two important fib levels (0.236 and 0.618) , with ten most heavily weighted stocks in s&p500 index to create some awesome signals. The rationale is first defining two fib levels with the 52-week-high-low range, then if those stocks rebounded just higher than 0.236 levels, we can confirm the trend has changed and start our buying . For the 0.618 level, you can use it as a profit taker , or a sell signal during the bull run. What decides a trend continuation or a trend change is the degree of the retracement , and 0.236 would be an ideal level to confirm the trend has changed.😃
For your own convenience, you can amend or diy the script to make it work for you by simply put your favorite stocks or indexes on the list. Hope you find it really helpful and HAPPY TRADING!!! 😃
If you find my scripts useful, please click the FOLLOW button and I am VERY VERY GRATEFUL.😘
Vanilla ABCD PatternPatterns makes parts of the many predictive tools available to technical analysts, the most simples ones can be easily detected by using scripts. The proposed tool detect the simple (vanilla) form of the ABCD pattern, a pattern aiming to detect potential price swings. The script can use an additional confirmation condition that aim to filter potential false signals.
ABCD PATTERN
The ABCD pattern is not meant to be detected by analyzing individuals closing price observations but by analyzing longer term movements, this is done by using tools such as zig-zag. Like any pattern the ABCD one comes in different flavors, the simplest being based on the following structures:
Once price reach D we can expect a reversal. The classical pattern has the following conditions : BC = 0.618*AB and CD = 1.618*AB , as you can see this condition is based on 0.618 which is a ratio in the Fibonacci sequence. Other conditions are for AB to equal to CD or for CD to be 161.8% longer than AB. Why these conditions ? Cause Fibonacci of course .
The ABCD pattern that the proposed tool aim to detect is not based on the zig-zag but only on individual price observations and don't make use of any of the previously described conditions, thus becoming more like a candle pattern.
When the label is blue it means that the tool has detected a bullish ABCD pattern, while a red label means that the tool has detected a bearish ABCD pattern.
We can't expect patterns based on the analysis of 1,2,3 or 4 closing price observations to predict the reversal of mid/long term movements, this can be seen on the above chart, but we can see some signals predicting short term movements.
Since the pattern is based on a noisy variation, using smoother input can result in less signals.
Above the tool on BTCUSD using closing price as input. Below the tool using ohlc4 as input:
TOOL OPTIONS
Being to early can be as devastating as being to late, therefore a confirmation point can be beneficial, the tool allow you to wait for confirmation thus having a potentially better timing. Below is a chart of AMD with no confirmation:
As we can see there are many signals with some of them occurring to early, we can fix this by checking the confirmation option:
The confirmation is simply based on the candle color, for example if a bearish ABCD pattern has been detected in the past and the closing price is greater than the opening price then the tool return a buy signal. The same apply with a bearish ABCD pattern.
The "last bar repaint" option is true by default, this in order to show the bar where the D point of the pattern has been detected, since the closing price of the last bar is constantly changing the signals on the last bar can be constantly appearing/disappearing, unchecking the option will fix this but will no longer the bar where the D point of the pattern has been detected.
SUMMARY
The pattern is simple and can sometimes be accurate when predicting the direction of future short terms movements. The tool was a request, as it seems i don't post many pattern detectors, well thats true, and the reason is that for me patterns are not super significant, and their detection can be extremely subjective, this is why simple patterns are certainly the only ones worth a look.
Don't expect me to post many pattern related indicators in the future ^^'
Patient Trendfollower (7)(alpha)Patient Trendfollower consists of 21 and 55 EMA, Commodity Channel Index and Supertrend indicator. It confirms a trend and gives you a signal on a pullback. Original creation worked on 1h EURUSD chart.
►Long setup:
• 21 EMA is above 55 EMA, which is above the Supertrend indicator.
• Commodity Channel Index is an oscillator, which prints into the chart if extreme levels are reached. Green is for a level above 100 or below -100, red is above 140 or below -140 and black is above 180 or below -180.
• If 21 EMA > 55EMA > Supertrend and an oversold signal appear, you can buy into the trend.
• When backtesting on 1h EURUSD, profit target 400 pips worked best with a stop-loss below Supertrend's bottom and the size of your spread.
• A picture shows two valid entries.
: This part still malfunctions and shows red dots over some green ones. It is important to disable red ones in the settings to see green ones.
Some more long signals:
Some short signals:
►Backtesting data with default settings and trading only green CCI signals with mentioned risk management strategy:
• 212 closed trades
• 58.96% profitable with average win trade 348 USD and average loss trade 263 USD when only green signals are followed.
• Profit factor 1.903, Sharpee 0.792
• 20 bars is average for all trades, short trades were 18 bars long on average.
With given data, you can see the strategy is profitable by itself. However, original risk management settings do work only on 1h charts of EURUSD and would need to be adjusted for other instruments based on average volatility.
Even though the profitability is low, you can increase your odds by a great margin, if you properly use price action (impulsive and corrective moves, patterns, bar analysis), if you trade when major exchanges are open, you may also use wave analysis such as Elliot Waves or Market Profiles to predict whether the next day might be a trending day. My backtesting program didn't consider these ideas.
Unfortunately, I won't be making backtesting strategy public with it anytime soon, because it still has some parts that do not work. I am ok with that since I understand the code and know what does malfunction and how. Then, there are parts which I am not sure how to fix yet. This is why the indicator is still considered alpha.
In the future when a strategy is published, you will also be able to set your own overbought/oversold values without entering the code itself and probably some other features. But I am not in a hurry for that. You can give me feedback on UX and try to figure out the best setups for other symbols, it might help to improve the automatic testing script when I know what I should achieve. My main point is to make this public for friends who can already be using it on EURUSD at least.
Close doesn't always have to be 400 pips, you might want to close on a logical level such as strong resistance or a trendline too.
Thanks to:
• @everget for providing Supertrend solution.
• Satik FX who hand-tested the system by hand and reported results in this article . He is my main inspiration for creating the complete indicator as one because I want to be able to show and hide it with a single click. My future scripts will also work as a whole strategy each by itself.
• The number in the script's name comes from Satik's numbering. A mentioned article was his seventh shared strategy.
Supertrend MTF Heikin AshiThis is non-repaiting Supertrend Multi Time Frame script, uses Heikin Ashi Candles as source on normal chart
There is an option for Higher Time Frame. if you choose "Auto" then Higher Time Frame calculation is made by the script. If you choose "User Defined" option and then you can select Time Frame.
You better use this script with other indicators such as RSI, Momentum etc.
Enjoy!
Renko ChartHello All. This is live and non-repainting Renko Charting tool. The tool has it’s own engine and not using integrated function of Trading View.
Renko charts ignore time and focus solely on price changes that meet a minimum requirement. Time is not a factor on Renko chart but as you can see with this script Renko chart created on time chart.
Renko chart provide several advantages, some of them are filtering insignificant price movements and noise, focusing on important price movements and making support/resistance levels much easier to identify.
in the script Renko Trend Line with threshold area is included. and also there is protection from whipsaws, so you can catch big waves with very good entry points. Trend line is calculated by EMA of Renko closing price.
As source Closing price or High/Low can be used. Traditional or ATR can be used for scaling. If ATR is chosen then there is rounding algorithm according to mintick value of the security. For example if mintick value is 0.001 and brick size (ATR/Percentage) is 0.00124 then box size becomes 0.001. And also while using dynamic brick size (ATR), box size changes only when Renko closing price changed.
Renko bar can be seen as area or candle and also optionally bar color changes when Renko trend changed.
Soon other Renko scripts (Renko RSI, Renko Weis Wave, Renko MACD etc) are coming ;)
ENJOY!
